The temp control here at Job 2 has two settings: Freezing and Suffocating Heat. Nothing in between.
Finished tasks. Cooking pasta and red sauce with spinach and ground turkey. Hanging out, dinner, tv, & innernetz: alls I’m gonna do.
Still need to vacuum car but all the coffee cups, newspapers, shoes, and just plain trash is cleaned out.

next batch has same amount of butter as the first recipe, 2x the amt of sugar, plus EGGS.
First batch of cookies in oven. I think that’s more butter than I’ve used all year long.
Home. Do not understand how ingredients for cookies and a salad totalled 70 bucks….
Batch 2 pt 3: After a couple dozen biscotti, I froze the othr half of the dough.
Batch 2, pt 2: Either she mean 8 1/2 FEET long, or when she wrote “big pencil,” she meant “big flashlight”
Batch 2 cooling. Boss’s mother (dead, Sicilian)’s homemade biscotti. Handwritten. “Roll dough until 8 1/2” long as wide as a big pencil.”
Last batch going to be more complex. Involves a filling and icing.

Working during the days this week at Job 2 & getting paid holiday leave off from Job 1 isn’t bad. Xmas dinner tomorrow w/BFF after shift.
Okay I”m up. Gotta drive to Job 2 in an hour. I’ve got some coffee in my system and a bagel in the toaster. Also have to buy cookie ingred.
All of the animals are asleep! Nobody wants in or out, nobody needs to be fed. All snoring.

Rainy, misty, drippy, muddy gray day outside. My dogs are almost certainly resenting me for leaving them outside.
Holeeee crappp, it’s cold outside. Even my fuzzball Howdy Howdy Howdy, I’z a Snow Leprd cats don’t want to mess with that.
Off from Job 1 for 2 weeks, but working at Job 2 in Austin during that time. Not bad, I don’t have to be in charge of anything there.
