Healthy Foods Have A Cost

June 20, 2012 by: administrator

Recently, New York legislation plans to put a ban on sugary drinks by March 2013. The idea is to help discourage one of the major causes of obesity, sugary drinks. The silly thing is, in New York, you can buy almost any other unnecessary food product that’ll surely clog arteries and put on some pounds. It is inevitable. The thing is, you can’t get fat when there are no fatty foods present. This slight measure isn’t going to stave off people from hitting up the M&M store which is rather silly too. How can you have a store based off of M&M’s? You can pretty much buy them anywhere anyway right?

The legislation is a legal stranglehold on the potential for obesity. In a free country, you can do whatever you want and you should feel free enough to take pleasure in doing what you want. The consequences should be something you brought on yourself. When it comes to diet, it can be a difficult thing to find healthy foods when you are surrounded by poor health choices. There is what you want versus what you need. We all get what we need to eat but how much fun is that? It would make sense that if you feel better, you’d want to take care of yourself but not everyone is built in that kind of environment where we are all worth that much value.

As they say, “Life is cheap”. Health can have a price tag when the expenses for poor health decisions begin to take their toll. It may not be willful either. It may simply be bad habits and having a hard time adjusting. What we choose to eat can be a personal choice. If you have the money, eat clean can be an easier hurdle. When price becomes an obstacle, healthy eating can suffer. This isn’t the case for everyone but there are steps each person can take to help make their lives a little bit healthier. It takes small steps. One step at a time.

Eating healthy and building a nutrition plan that encourages weight loss is just half the battle. To win the war you need a workout routine that challenges you every time you do it. The new Les Mills PUMP Workout home workout routine is such a program. It never gets easier; you just get stronger and can continue to challenge yourself by adding on more weight.
